Timo Parvela has written over 80 works for children, young people and adults, as well as TV scripts, plays and lyrics. Parvela's texts have been translated into over thirty languages, and a total of over 2 million copies have been sold in Finland and abroad. Parvela's works have been adapted into numerous theatre, TV and film works both in Finland and abroad. Timo Parvela is particularly known for his children's book series Kepler62 series, Ella and Friends series, Pete series, Purdy & Barker and The Guardians of the Sampo trilogy.
